Richard Smith

Registered Architect and Managing Director

Richard Smith has been primarily working with LVG Investments as a Registered Architect and Managing Director since 2006.

Mr. Smith oversees project management, design and refurbishing of shopping centers in Texas and Oklahoma. Mr. Smith is also designing a mixed-use urban village master plan in Ft. Worth, Texas, for LVG Investments.

Mr. Smith generally consults with owners regarding program, project management and design of mixed-use projects in Texas.

From 1996 to 2006, Mr. Smith designed and developed AIA Continuing Educations Systems in Austin, Texas, and was Vice President and Architect at Michael Malone Architects in Dallas, Texas, designing/constructing multiple retail and residential assets.

From 1984 to 1996, Mr. Smith was Principal/Owner of Richard Smith Architect, consulting with architects, interior designers, developers and construction contractors. During this time, Mr. Smith also provided design/construction program services to Frito-Lay sales/distribution centers.

Mr. Smith has had projects published in Luxe, Interior Design, Dallas Ft. Worth Home & Garden and Houston Home & Garden.

Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arkansas.
